Crooning Disney Classics submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 8:22am This album reinterprets classic Disney songs in a jazzy crooner style. The song selection is excellent, including tunes that obviously lend themselves to this style and some more surprising choices, as well as a solid blend of older and newer selections. Tyrell’s voice is a bit on the raspy side, to mixed effect, but the musical accompaniments do a lot to carry the album. Overall, I found this to be hit-and-miss, but it’s always interesting to hear new interpretations of well-known songs.
