Fantastic Reader submitted by pk on July 6, 2011, 2:43pm Cherry Jones is everything one could ask for in an audiobook performer. This book is a classic. While not my favorite in the Little House series, it is still an entertaining tale that is good for a variety of ages (aka, the parents didn't get bored listening to it).

great submitted by Smile on August 10, 2014, 12:57pm This book showed anormal pioneer's hard life and is very detailed.

pretty good submitted by liztibbetts on August 30, 2019, 10:50am the book has an interesting story line and characters, but they don't have a lot of suspense.

Classic submitted by TLW1998 on June 23, 2022, 11:16pm One of the best books that I have ever read. Laura has a charming way of writing. She is a great story teller, and her stories really paint a picture of what it was like to live as an early American pioneer. My 5-6 year old daughter and I loved reading the entire Little House series together. The books are very enjoyable and educational too. I highly recommend reading the entire collection. This book focuses on their house on the prairie in Indian territory. It is nice to listen to.
