Oceans 12 submitted by kmkeahl on July 8, 2011, 6:28pm A great sequel to oceans 11. After the robbery of Terry Benedict's (Andy Garcia)casino he goes on a hunt for the whole crew and make them pay back all the money they stole from him. Of course they don't have all the money, so they have to find a way to pay him back by stealing something very valuable.

Great sequel submitted by Sonia on July 9, 2011, 1:47pm This is one of those sequels that is as good as the original but in a different way. This time the gang is in Europe trying to keep ahead of everyone after them.

Ocean's Twelve submitted by SBNB on July 28, 2014, 9:11pm This movie doesn't seem to be as memorable as Ocean's 11 to me, but it's still a great movie.

Sophomore Slump submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2020, 5:58pm Though it has one particular bit that always has me laughing out loud (even just remembering that it exists), this film is a little too clever and convoluted for its own good; it ultimately fails to live up to the high expectations set by its predecessor. Taking a slightly different approach to the traditional heist narrative, the plot finds the Ocean’s Eleven gang (plus/minus a few contributors) pulling off both a minor and a major heist, bound together by a framing narrative that follows the fallout from the first film. This sounds good on paper, but the film places far too little emphasis on the heists themselves, which lie at the heart of any story in this genre, and too much on an unnecessarily complex structure that relies on revelations that ultimately don’t add much to the story or to our understanding of the central characters. The film has its moments, buoyed again by an excellent cast with some pitch-perfect additions, but it doesn’t deliver on its potential, focusing too much on being different and ambitious rather than on being good.
