Good book for mystery fans submitted by JulieCraig on June 27, 2016, 10:09am Kinsey Milhoune fans will really enjoy this, but there is enough interesting stuff to appeal to other mystery fans as well. It is based on a cold case, set in Lompoc and Santa Teresa California. Kinsey works with two detectives, both of whom are flawed and dealing with their own challenges. The victim is also quite interesting, as well as the interviews and the development of the story. Kinsey's persistence is admirable. The original idea for the story came from an actual cold case in California.
