Noise Age submitted by Caser on August 24, 2011, 2:15pm No Age is a solid noise rock band, but they're no strangers to using a formula when it works so well. If this, the duo's third album, were a recipe, they'd be 2 cups rock, 1 cup noise, which is actually lighter on the noise than their fans are used to. They'd be found in the same chapter as Sonic Youth's catchier stuff and just a few pages down from Black Flag and Nirvana, though their 1-2 minute recipes are significantly shorter than the latter's songs. There are enough ideas on the whole record to make this more than just background music, especially in the first 5 songs, with Fever Dreaming being a significant highlight.
