nice to hear Georgie Fame

I was a big fan of his 60's hit "yeh, yeh" and have heard very little
of his other recordings. I'm guessing they were mostly imports
His jazzy keyboards and Van's vocals mesh well together, especially on
Blues in the Night and Moondance.

Van Morrison is still working, going on tours. I listened to his older jazz years ago and heard a saxophone that was pretty good. He was shooting for fifties blues sax, one that sounded like velvet.
But I don’t think his playing has progressed much. It’s more about the buddies playing together.
That’s not all bad.
