Great submitted by zmclaugh on July 30, 2018, 4:44pm This is a great book--interesting plot and characters and fun to listen to.
Wonderful book to listen to or read in print submitted by mickplu on June 15, 2022, 7:38am One of the amazing things about this book is that it was originally published in 1967, therefore being way ahead of its time in diversity and blended families. The characters are children ranging in age from 3 - 11 and invent The Egypt Game in which their creativity takes over. There's a bit of a mystery going on and plenty of humor, such as Marshall's stuffed octopus being named Security (after Security Blanket). This book is appropriate for elementary (say 4th grade on up) to adulthood. All will enjoy the plot and characters.
