With his wide range of musical infulences and musical talent I am excited to see what he will do in the future. Although I like all the songs on this album, I especially like "The Other Side" which also feature Cee-Lo Green and B.o.B..

Don't be fooled submitted by jjdijkstra81 on July 11, 2012, 4:53am When the title said "Doo Wops and Hooligans" I thought it would be something different without all that regular money and hoes and pop stardom crap they play on the radio. It wasn't. Very disappointing. I do like his one song, "Girl you're amazing just the way you are". It has a good message for youngsters. My 10 year old knows it by heart since it's a radio hit.

Great R&B/Pop Mix submitted by Meginator on July 4, 2017, 8:08pm Bruno Mars has a very charming aural aesthetic, focusing on an updated blend of classic R&B and current pop sensibilities, and he milks it for all it's worth on this album. Thankfully that's a very good thing! Every track has a certain energy to it, with infectious hooks and clever lyrics delivered in Mars's smooth style. I was surprised to find that the non-singles on this album were better than the songs he released on the radio, and I'll definitely be checking out the rest of his catalog. This album was a very pleasant surprise.
