Much To Love Beyond THAT Song submitted by Meginator on July 25, 2022, 10:30pm Ah, the album that launched the record-breaking “All I Want for Christmas Is You”. That track is one of the best modern additions to the Christmas canon (even if it is now woefully overplayed), and the rest of the album holds up really well, only rarely showing its age. Carey’s dynamic vocal range allows her to expertly adapt her performances to each song, from the upbeat pop singles to the more reverent carols. Her versions of traditional holiday classics bring enough of her own style to them to stand apart from the crowd, and the mix of old and new makes for a classic Christmas album beyond its breakout single.
