The Furian renegade Riddick has another bounty on his head, but when he escapes from his mercenary captors, he's plunged into an epic-scale war waged by the Necromongers. A fascist master race led by Lord Marshal becomes determined to conquer all enemies in their quest for the Underverse and its up to Riddick to stop him from taking over the universe, but things don't go according to his plans and soon mayhem ensues.

Sequel to Pitch Black submitted by beeniepie on August 11, 2013, 2:24pm Pitch Black was a low budget action film that packed a powerful punch. This big budget sequel attempts to have the same heart, but the chemistry is lacking.

Mostly Action, Minimal Plot submitted by Xris on November 16, 2020, 1:38am Mostly action, but they tried to do a little more plot here. I would have liked to get more background on the Necromongers and their religion, and the elementals. This was more a revenge plot, and the wife of the one Necromonger was a real pot-stirrer. Another one of my husband's picks.
