Inception submitted by DBJC on June 14, 2014, 4:47pm Now I love Hans Zimmer. It's rare that I dislike anything that he composes. RARE. Inception is no different. From "Half Remembered Dream" to "Time," the soundtrack tells the story of Inception through dramatic crescendos and eerie samples of Edith Piaf's "Non, je ne regrette rien." I do recommend that you listen to the entire album from beginning to end, but I don't recommend listening to this while driving (you might be tempted to speed while on an epic high). As with Hans Zimmer, his melodies are simple, but definitely serves a great companion to the film. Popular track favorites are "Dream is Collapsing" (which serves as the theme for the film), "Mombasa" (which has tremendous motion), "Dream Within a Dream" (which is basically a different version of "Dream is Collapsing," and "Time." If you're looking for the song that was in the trailer, that wasn't written by Hans Zimmer (it's called "Mind Heist" and was composed by Zack Hemsey). I give "Inception"...5/5!
