COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Fun music submitted by andreahubert on July 6, 2012, 7:38am This soundtrack is fun to listen to.
The Broadway cast, not the movie version submitted by FordAlpha on August 13, 2019, 10:14pm I could listen to "The Music Man" soundtrack over and over and over. Song after song is clever, memorable, and catchy. I find myself quoting many of the songs, and I've sung a version of "Goodnight, my someone" as a lullaby to my kids. But I think my very favorite parts are the barbershop numbers, "Sincere", "Goodnight Ladies", and "Lida Rose". This CD is the original broadway cast recording. It's a little bit different from the movie soundtrack, which is probably better known. Harold Hill was played by the same actor/singer on Broadway and in the film, but the other major roles were different actors and actresses.
