Disapointed submitted by sara on June 18, 2018, 11:49am I loved the Gilmore Girls series when it was on tv. I waited and waited for my turn to watch the video. I was so disappointed. It was nice to see the characters again, and to see Star's Hollow, but I found myself wanting to fast forward through much of it. They tried to squeeze in every character that ever appeared on the show, rather than concentrating on the relationship between mother and daughter.

GG submitted by shannonwait on August 9, 2018, 9:49pm I enjoyed this but it didn't quite capture the magic of the earlier seasons. Still fun though.

Revival bad submitted by redwood on August 4, 2019, 8:05pm A poor imitation of the original show. Rory is now completely insufferable, her and Lorelai's humor hard to relate to. That said, Kelly Bishop turns in a FANTASTIC performance as Emily grieving Richard's death (the show's way of honoring Edward Herrmann after the actor passed away).

Could have been better submitted by dree411 on August 31, 2019, 12:55pm We watched this in the wee morning hours when the internet connection was free... it was nice to reconnect with the characters, but some of the stories were weak (did we really need to spend so much time with a Stars Hollow musical?). But I still want more Gilmore Girls!

Not worth the time submitted by dntanzer on August 18, 2020, 3:48pm Very disappointed in the plot and quality. I couldn't even finish it

loved the og series but... submitted by maizl on August 11, 2022, 6:05pm I absolutely love GG and was excited for this to come out, but it wasn't really all I was hoping for. It wasn't a very good story, definitely just made for nostalgia purposes.

Just OK submitted by purchasingqueen on August 9, 2023, 6:49am Was excited for this to finally come out. Like others, I found it a bit disappointing. This often happens with iconic shows. The original 'magic', while still there, is dulled. Several characters are also missing (deceased, not included).
