Greatest Greatest Hits submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 30, 2014, 12:39am Can a greatest hits album be a classic, iconic album? If so, this Tom Petty compilation (along with ChangesBowie) is one of them. It even has a good feel as an album listening from start to finish - maybe some of that was luck, but it feels like craft. Has hits like Free Fallin', Refugee and Into The Great Wide Open, but also catapulted the fantastic, slinky Mary Jane's Last Dance to long-lasting hit status. Works for existing fans, casual listeners, and as an introduction.
