Obviously This Is Great submitted by Meginator on July 22, 2021, 8:48pm Although this collection does not include Dolly Parton’s arguably greatest hit (“Jolene”), you’d still be hard-pressed to find a collection of country songs from this era with as much staying power. Dolly’s vocals have incredible emotional power without ever imposing themselves too harshly or too obviously, and the songwriting is crisp and clever. These songs are as timeless as Parton herself and the album is a fantastic testament to her incredible talent.
