in a different world... submitted by jibkidder on June 25, 2022, 6:56pm ...billy corgan became the lead guitarist in a group with someone else as the lead singer and thusly became some kind of guitar legend. In our world, his many talents are eclipsed by not only the worst lyrics of any 90s alternative rock band but also the most annoying vocal style of possibly any band ever. He has cited U2 as a huge early inspiration, which makes sense with their similar balance of horrible lyrics and highly novel guitar approach.

Hasn’t aged well submitted by tisaallen on July 21, 2022, 12:22am I liked this album OK when it came out, but listening to it in 2022, I didn’t really care for it at all. I’m not really sure exactly why - could be colored by years of Corgan being a jackass. It has some cool guitar work, but the songwriting is a bit weak and the singing/lyrics are pretty bad.
