Cheerful and Imaginative submitted by pkooger on September 19, 2011, 2:05pm Secondhand Lions is about an unwilling young boy foisted off on his unwilling pair of great-uncles, and how they come to love each other. The boy's mother believes the uncles have a fortune hidden away somewhere and she wants her boy to get his hands on it for her. The boy is uninterested. The actors in this film take a somewhat ridiculous plot and make it charming. If you're looking for a fun family-friendly movie, maybe give this one a try.

So Many Good Laughs but Enough Scaries! submitted by Laughter on June 19, 2020, 1:52pm Our family watched this movie together and the uncled make such a show of themselves; everyday all they do is sit on their porch and shoot at oncoming advertisers. When the boy arrives he gets them to spend their money because then they can actually do something instead of just shooting the salesmen away. In a way this movie is kind of a mystery because as the movie plays on we find out more and more about the uncles background and their life before they moved to the farm. This a great movie for kids who are okay with people who try to kill people and A LOT of action. Even with the downfalls this is still an exciting and fun movie.
