very late period Sun Ra live submitted by JAV on August 16, 2021, 4:16pm At this point, ill health had taken its toll on Sun Ra's playing and John Gilmore, Ra's featured tenor saxophonist, is also missing. Pretty good presentation given those drawbacks with an energetic performance by the Arkestra. Sun Ra would depart the planet the following year.

Great one submitted by jibkidder on June 13, 2022, 10:46am If I'm correct this is Ra's last recording, for sure it is close to it. It is hard to find someone sounding this good that late in the game. Really great album all around, especially love some of the guitar playing which influenced me a lot as a teenager.
