COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Great action movie submitted by ferielp on August 17, 2018, 11:19am Definitely not the best take on the Arthurian legends, but I will always love Ritchie's action sequences, especially when they are in a period piece.

More like "(vaguely) inspired by the legends of King Arthur" submitted by GJBarnett2 on August 31, 2018, 12:19pm Emphasis on vaguely. A few vague references to the Arthurian legends, mainly the sword in the sword aspect but that's about it. A good 30 minutes too long. Too many street chase scenes, swordplay. Too expensive to hire writers. Who in his right mind would have invested money in making this?

TRULY AWFUL MOVIE. TERRIBLE. submitted by Tassos on March 7, 2019, 8:41am What in the world does THIS Nonsense have to do with the Legend of King Arthur? NOTHING. It is a B Movie for 5 year olds. Or for 35 year olds with the brain of a 5 year old. I am sick and tired of such movies.

Fantasy movies in general are really LAME, but I was lucky yesterday to also watch a second fantasy DVD, this one directed by Del Toro, "The Shape of Water", which was EXCELLENT. If you are into this "Fantasy" Crap, I strongly recommend it. Beats those idiotic Harry Potter movies every day.

King Arthur submitted by avrogers1 on June 21, 2019, 9:31am This actually wasn't bad. After seeing a few either movies the lead had done recently we didn't expect it to be stellar, but we enjoyed it. Its not meant to be historical fact, or legend, so don't expect much from it in that aspect.

King Arthur submitted by VanCancue on August 12, 2020, 11:04am An action adventure vague adaptation of the Arthurian legend. Though not true to the original story best watched for the action sequences.

The Legend False Starts submitted by caburr47 on July 8, 2022, 8:42pm This film had great potential. Great ensemble cast and excellent film maker.

Guy Ritchie got really effects heavy and tried to put his classic verbal spin on this film and the banter doesn't work and takes you out of the story.
