COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Great story, not a great ending submitted by sfrantom on August 9, 2018, 1:52pm This time period is fascinating for all of the expeditions to lands that has previously been unknown to Europeans, and so the first chunk of this movie is really interesting, reliving all the hardships and uncertainties they faced. The main explorer, however, becomes a bit obsessed and it's hard to cheer for him towards the end.

Anticlimactic submitted by lstorc on August 29, 2018, 9:07pm Save yourself the time, and skip this one! It was nowhere near suspenseful as it could have been. It was like a tame Heart of Darkness

Disappointing submitted by ferielp on August 31, 2018, 1:39pm Unnecessarily long and laborious. Stereotypical portrayal of native south american cultures.

I wanted more submitted by avrogers1 on June 19, 2019, 12:54pm This movie was just OK... It could have been soo much better. The previews did it more justice than it deserved. They spent waaayyy too much time on scenes that literally had nothing going on. They didn't use any of the cinematography tricks to show time passing, it was soo hard to sit through.
