It takes the audience on a musical journey through the swamps of the Louisiana Bayou, the juke joints of the Mississippi Delta and Moonshine soaked BBQs in the North Mississippi Hill Country. The film visits blues musicians rooted in the genre's heyday, many in their '80s, still living in the American deep south and touring the Chitlin' Circuit.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Last of a Generation submitted by Meginator on August 22, 2017, 8:41am This important film documents some of the great blues musicians of the middle of the 20th century, focusing on a group of guitarists, harmonica players, and singers who live in southern Mississippi and Louisiana. It's astonishing to see these folks play with such passion, even now, as they tell their stories through, behind, and beyond the music they create, in their own words and without a narrator. I highly recommend this film to anyone who is interested in music, the South, and/or folk traditions. It's very well done.
