COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Strong leading ladies! submitted by ferielp on July 25, 2017, 12:28pm Lovely feminist story of a woman getting a job in the wartime film industry, and challenging and changing it from within. Within this film itself, it subverts the romance genre's 'happily ever after'.

Charming and subtle! submitted by VanCancue on June 18, 2018, 2:37pm I honestly cant say it better than the review titled 'Strong leading ladies!' submitted by ferielp on July 25, 2017, 12:28pm.
The soundtrack perfectly depicts a pleasant ending despite the loses in the story, continuing to put weight on the story of the female lead. The female leads natural talent and ability allow her to earn the respect to hold her position.

The leftie idiots at the BBC ruin History to serve their pathetic agendas submitted by Tassos on April 20, 2019, 6:22pm There is NO WAY the silly dialogues in this flick would have ever existed in REAL time, when Britain was ON THE ROPES and fearing for its very LIFE. Truly PATHETIC. Only historically illiterate fanatics would like this laughable revisionist view of how people thought back then.

World war 2 submitted by mandevil on November 13, 2021, 2:02pm The blitz, Dunkirk and a cracking good story. Bill Nye steals every scene. Loved it
