COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Bill Murray! submitted by crazypockets on July 25, 2013, 4:05pm I find this movie a lot funnier now that I'm older than I did when I was a kid/teenager. I think it's because when I was that old, I didn't really understand the dynamic going on between the two main characters. I can sort of identify with both now, but I think Bill Murray's character is much funnier. You really can't help but love him!

Totally original! submitted by Kikumatsu97 on July 27, 2015, 6:30pm This movie has all the really fun aspects of a mental disorder! Just kidding, but you know this comedy ranks up there (and thus ended up on my Top 50 funniest movies of all time) I don't like Richard Dreyfus, but his annoying way really lends itself to Dr. Leo's character in this great summer comedy! I love watching it with my kids, but it's a great one for a date night too.

you won't want to be psychologist after seeing this movie! submitted by mickplu on July 20, 2016, 5:13pm Bill Murray's character Bob, imposes himself on the family of his therapist played by Richard Dreyfus. Hilarity follows as everyone in the family adopts Bob except of course the therapist he is stalking.

Hilarious submitted by blue77rose on August 6, 2018, 1:20am A feel good comedy! Bill Murray is amazing at this. There are some deeply poignant moments too.

A great 90s comedy! submitted by Adam Graham on August 10, 2018, 9:47pm I love this movie - Bill Murray is amazing. It is very funny, but like the other reviewers have said, there are some very sweet moments too.

must see submitted by meghantpowell on August 31, 2018, 11:57pm This movie is hilarious. Bill Murray is the definite star. Such a great movie to watch with family & friends.

Maybe for Die-Hard Murray Fans? submitted by sushai on August 7, 2019, 9:09pm Not my type of humor. Annoying characters, predictable story, and it has a dated feel to it. But, fans of Bill Murray probably will like it anyway.

Pretty good premise. I love movies with therapy in them. submitted by lisa on July 29, 2020, 5:32pm Better to see the actual therapy, however.

I sorta hope Bill Murray ends up on the cultural scrapheap, except for his ongoing appearance in eternal replayings of Ground Hog Day.

Funny film submitted by kossjoe1999 on August 2, 2023, 6:26pm Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss play off each other so well in this movie. The funny interactions between the two along with Bill Murray finding his way to visit his therapist on vacation to get the whole family involved. He was able to take a vacation from his problems.
