COMMUNITY REVIEWS

A unique family drama submitted by ferielp on August 31, 2018, 1:08pm Her childhood may not be directly relatable to everyone, but I think we can all identify with the struggle of growing up with a different set of ambitions and desires that clash with the lifestyle and ideals your parents have and would prefer you have as well.

Disappointing submitted by Maria Maguire on June 30, 2019, 2:16pm I read the book The Glass Castle, and was excited to see how the movie would turn out. I was a little disappointed. I felt as thought the book showed that the children had mixed feelings about their father, who could sometimes be a fun, loving dad but other times an abusive alcoholic. In the movie, I felt as though it were oversimplified and almost betrayed her father in a too generous way.
