In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble, LEGO Batman, stars in his own big-screen adventure. Irreverent Take on Batman submitted by Meginator on August 13, 2017, 7:53pm The LEGO Batman Movie is a hilarious, irreverent take on the Batman mythos that works on several levels. The moral of the story is a little heavy-handed, but the writers go with it and work the overwrought moralizing seamlessly into the film's sarcastic tone. The animation is smooth, but feels a bit less physical than in The LEGO Movie. I enjoyed this film immensely, and I think it's better than the first LEGO film.

Not as good as the first one submitted by pk on August 6, 2018, 1:00pm While this was pleasant and amusing, it was not as great as the original Lego Movie. Batman felt much more forced and less funny. Watch it, but don't expect much.

Stupid concept. Batman Lego movie. I mean, come on. submitted by tbbrown76 on August 23, 2018, 7:59pm But, the family wanted to watch it so we did. I loved every minute. Who knew a Batman Lego could emote such passion? The part where he stopped being an individual and became part of a team (Spoiler: NOT the Legion) was wonderful. Highly, highly recommended for everyone. Seriously.
