fresh submitted by lekendrick on January 3, 2011, 1:01am honestly, uplifting from trekking India, & bi-coastal! An, exhaustively entertaining product surpassing being termed? Academic, truly gifted! Commentary very much included praise, & beyond for us by us Rock goes to explain his overwhelming concern do many factor, but centered in whom he'd chosen to be loved! It's important evolution ethos not separatist, but cooperative thought! After all it's Lions Gate, & HBO Films the same as Mad Men excepting AMC, however Home Box Office not such a fall!

Funny and interesting submitted by marielle on July 14, 2011, 9:53pm Chris Rock goes around the world documenting the lengths African-American women go to get "good" hair; from the hairdresser, to India, where much of the hair for natural wigs and weaves comes from, to industry events in the U.S.

This is a documentary about black hair, but as a girl with Jew hair, I loved this movie. It motivated me to embrace my natural hair too. I'd recommend it to any woman who has ever felt self-conscious about her hair.

funny submitted by leenajong on July 18, 2017, 4:16pm This is one of the hilarious documentary ever.

I had no idea! submitted by potterbee on August 14, 2018, 3:27pm It was interesting learning the processes some women go through for their hair! Chris Rock presents a lot of information about the black hair industry, and I was surprised how much money it generates. Very thorough and entertaining documentary.

excellent, funny, and informative submitted by pk on July 16, 2019, 8:13pm Even if you like your hair - watch this. You'll be amazed at what people go through to make their hair "good". The chemical processes! Hairpieces from India! And while it's very informative and a little bit cautionary, it's also very entertaining and funny. Thank you, Chris Rock and company!
