An early Dustin Hoffman role, setting him up for Dog Day Afternoon submitted by ccrose on August 31, 2019, 9:11pm Susan George plays Hoffman’s wife. They move into an old cottage so Hoffman can write his book. Violence comes from men who think they can kill him and rape her. Sam Peckenpah directed, in his effort to make violence more real and unrelenting. Not for children and some adults who react to violet images.
