Outdated technology?! submitted by rimpopu on July 15, 2013, 9:51pm We love Scholastic Videos as my children can read along with movies. My children love fairy tales. We checked out this DVD with lot of expectations but I was grossly disappointed. The animation is poor and not of good quality. It is not smooth like Curious George which is what we were expecting. All the five main stories in the DVD - Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Three Little Pigs, Hansel and Gretel are as per the original version of the stories. I remember them from my childhood. They sound a little brutal and outdated in this day and age. My children found these stories very different from what have heard and read. But they didn't mind watching a few times as they are all still popular stories. But it was not worth the time.
