COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Very good!!! submitted by pvogiatz on August 15, 2015, 5:06pm Wonderful cast, dramatic story and a really handsome young Brad Pitt!

What an AWFUL, Unwatchable movie. submitted by Tassos on January 2, 2019, 9:33am I had high expectations when I borrowed this DVD, being listed in the "top 100" of its kind, but when I started watching it, it was unbearably BAD.

The excellent actors in the cast, especially the Great Anthony Hopkins, but also Pitt and the rest of them, are wasted in a ludicrous movie. Especially its loud musical score is truly unbearable. WHy do we need all these trumpets and violins to accompany a simple farmer and his kids in their daily ROUTINES? DO they really have a full orchestra following them around? It makes the movie sound and look FAKE.

Why are the early 1900s depicted in such an unrealistic way? Life was MUCH harder than it is today, then! People got sick and died all the time! Farmers got DIRTY when they worked, unlike the characters of this movie. But above all the BLOODY, Intolerable MUSICAL SCORE really kills the movie.

Not my favorit submitted by smgop on August 5, 2020, 8:42pm Too high drama!

Legends of the Fall. submitted by yufamily on June 28, 2023, 1:11pm Brad was so young back in 1994... Julia Ormond was great.
