A shipwreck survivor named Braddock washes ashore on a remote island. There he meets Dr. Moreau, a mad scientist who has been conducting experiments on animals to turn them into humans and creating a horde of half-human, half-animal beings in the process. Dr. Moreau soon turns Braddock into an unwilling guinea pig, intending to turn him into an animal.
