COMMUNITY REVIEWS
An Irish Christmas Good for All Seasons submitted by Meginator on July 25, 2022, 10:35pm This album doesn’t feel at all like a traditional holiday album, and instead is more of a celebration of Irish folk music that happens to include some versions of Christmas songs. The effect is quite entertaining and the music doesn’t feel limited to the holiday season; even the feeling from track to track is fairly varied, as a series of guest vocalists lend their own unique spin to many of the songs. Anyone interested in Irish music should be familiar with the Chieftains, and this is yet another demonstration of their love and affinity for the style.
