A Solid B+ submitted by GJBarnett2 on August 31, 2012, 10:21am Cruise and Kidman play a wealthy yuppie couple whose boredom leads them into sexual adventures that threaten them and their marriage. Well done.
Kind of steamy. submitted by tbbrown76 on August 2, 2014, 9:20pm But I didn't like the whole premise. I give it a C-.
my eyes are in pain submitted by Jackie77 on August 25, 2015, 12:49am Disgusting movie. To each thier own, but this is wrong on so many levels.
that one piano note submitted by KOH on August 15, 2017, 10:49am Ahhh that sound was somehow so creepy and perfect for the feel of this film. Dark, odd, sexual. Take it or leave it as you prefer.
A whale of a movie, 160 mins, but not flabby or slow-moving

Kubrick is a Great Director. Not many understand his movies, as I can see from some reviews here.
I will not waste my time explaining it to them.
Given the DISMAL quality of most of today's little B movies, this is better than 99 out of 100 of them. REGARDLESS if it deserves a B+ or an A- or even a C. If you give this a C, the average CRAP you see gets an F.
Boo submitted by crp on August 12, 2019, 8:16pm I get that it was supposed to be an artistic film of a Kubrick, but it just falls flat fast.
ews submitted by yufamily on August 10, 2022, 6:50pm An epic fail.
