Dissatisfying submitted by lstorc on August 12, 2018, 11:35pm This was dark, a little depressing in an oddly funny way.

strange submitted by kelleyc on July 19, 2021, 1:50pm This movie was so strange, but still enjoyable

Director's Best? submitted by jibkidder on June 16, 2022, 11:45am I'm not a particular fan of Lanthimos, I find his films to be a bit rigid, a little uptight in the camera work and contrived but this one is truly funny. I haven't seen "The Favorite", which has been recommended to be, but reallllly didn't like "The Killing of a Sacred Deer". But yeah, as far as modern dark satire goes, this one is pretty funny.

strange, dark, and funny submitted by nemiller on June 12, 2023, 10:42pm This movie is probably not for everyone. It's very strange, from the premise itself, to the odd things that happen along the way, and the stilted way everyone speaks and acts throughout. Personally, I thought it was very interesting and funny. I also liked seeing familiar actors in completely different roles than usual. Colin Farrell in particular was amazing as the lead.
