Evicted from their Manhattan apartment, Walter and Anna buy what looks like the home of their dreams, only to find themselves saddled with a bank-account-draining nightmare. Struggling to keep their relationship together as their rambling mansion falls to pieces around them, the two hapless homeowners watch in horror as everything, including the bathtub, disappears into the appropriately named "money pit".

It was so funny and the plot moved along at just the right pace. Tom Hanks and Shelley Long were fantastic together in the couple's ups and downs. I recommend it to everyone, homeowner or not!
