Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprising habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it's a melting pot where animals from every environment live together. The message of following your dreams and dealing with the unbelievers is fantastic, and it's not preachy at all. I absolutely love Nick Wild (I have a thing for shady/funny characters with sad backstories). I would love to see a prequel film of Judy in the police academy--I feel like that went too quickly, and I think so much could be mined from that sequence, of what she had to deal with there. I recently watched this movie for a second time, and I was worried I wouldn't appreciate it as much knowing the twists; I was wrong, I appreciated it all the more. It is one of the most clever movies I have ever seen, bar none.

Talks about the real world submitted by Justin Shim on June 16, 2017, 5:47pm By far it is one of my favorite movies, though it is extremely funny and exciting and thrilling, it talks about real life problems. Racism can be shown in this movie by a threat between two animal categories, predator and prey, which can often be a connection to racism in real life. It touches on stereotypes and tries to show to a wide age of people to not judge based on looks.

Better than I expected submitted by FordAlpha on August 12, 2019, 9:45pm I expected the characters to be annoying, the plot shallow, and the messages contrived and cliched, but it turned out to be a clever, entertaining film with great voice work and thoughtful messaging. The visuals reward repeated viewing with lots of little sight gags.
