Reluctantly their friends, Dave and Ronnie, Joey and Lucy, and recently divorced Shane and his girlfriend Trudy agree. Upon their arrival to Eden they are sent to the west side of the island, but Joey learns that the east side of the island hosts a singles resort. After their first therapy session all four couples learn they have problems with their relationships. Later, Shane runs into his ex-wife, who admits she still loves him.

Good start but what happened? submitted by jilmac5 on July 6, 2011, 12:59am I rated this movie 3 out 5 stars as it had a funny premise and a good start to it but then what happened? It's like they didn't quite know how to end it and just sort of let it fizzle out. I think the movie is definately worth watching as it has some great laughs, just be prepared for a so-so ending.

Couples Retreat submitted by erksnerks on July 15, 2011, 8:50pm IF this was a movie about summer camp, maybe they could have figured out a better ending...

Loved it - especially on Snowy Winter Day! submitted by jgetty on August 26, 2015, 12:13pm I watched this last winter on a cold, snowy, gray day, and when the couples arrived at their resort with the incredible scenery, I just gasped out loud and wanted to be transported to that beautiful warm sunny place! The movie was very funny, crazy, fun, just plain entertainment! Loved it.

Okay submitted by kelleyc on July 28, 2016, 6:39am It was an okay movie. Nothing mind-blowing but enjoyable enough.

Good cast submitted by RebeccaWittekindt on August 4, 2023, 7:10am A fun movie with a fun cast. Predictable but still entertaining if you like the actors.
