Very Spare submitted by Meginator on August 20, 2017, 8:56am This documentary is very spare and calm, with no narration and lengthy periods of simple shots and no talking. I think the film could have benefited from a bit more narrative drive, but upon reflection the spare nature of the film seems to be deliberately done to reflect the landscape. This film spurs reflection and thought rather than overtly educating, which works here but is perhaps unexpected.
