Almost to definitely unbearable submitted by hisroyalsucculence on January 29, 2016, 1:25pm This season of True Detective ranged from almost unbearably bad to unbearably bad, depending on the episode. I watched up until I think what was the second to last episode and it was so bad that I had to stop. I'm glad I did because the final episode was the worst rated of them all. The dialogue is pseudo intellectual nonsense and is arguably the worst part of the show. Vince Vaughn is generally a good actor, but he (or the director) couldn't quite get him to convincingly play this role, making the poor dialogue that much more unbearable. My recommendation is to not waste your time.
