A Classic Musical submitted by Meginator on July 17, 2023, 9:48pm This is a classic and beloved musical, and although the complex and interwoven storylines are a bit difficult to follow without the benefit of a guide, the songs provide enough exposition for first-time listeners to pick up he gist of the story. Epic in its scope and length, the show tackles a lot of themes around honor and duty, and the performers capture these themes beautifully throughout. From the recording alone, this feels like a show that needs to be seen live to be fully appreciated, but it makes for a really compelling couple of hours if you have a chance to listen to it uninterrupted.
