A second life submitted by ccrose on August 27, 2019, 7:18pm These musicians had put away their instruments until Ry Cooder pulled together resources to pull them out and into the recording studios. I love the music. The accent beat is nothing like American dance music. But it’s possible for us to learn how to dance to this romantic music. Ruben Gonzalez the pianist was so fluid. It is clear he had extreme skill. The singers too are great.
