Fun Movie submitted by andreahubert on June 29, 2012, 10:41pm This movie was a fun watch.

Weirdly good submitted by crazypockets on July 19, 2013, 4:53pm This is a classic horror/dark humor movie. Tim Burton in his fairly early days doing what he does best. Michael Keaton is hilarious and gross. This is a great one for kids (and adults!) who don't scare easily and who like gross/bizarre/slightly spooky humor.

Good Movie submitted by Ilyjtwya on June 16, 2014, 2:40am As a child, this was one of my favorite movies. I also watched the cartoon (although I think it was short lived). Although it is certainly dark, it is full of fun and funny scenes.

Weird but Cool! submitted by xiwang on June 16, 2014, 8:48pm Fun to watch this darkly humorous tale.

Early Burton submitted by josephwb on June 30, 2014, 10:12pm Movie runs a bit slow as modern viewing. But the Burton whimsy is all there. Claymation (again, a bit slow) is wonderfully creepy. Keaton is... what's the word beyond terrific? So good. [I remember when the first Batman movie was about to come out, people were skeptical that Keaton, goofy as he was as Beetlejuice, could pull off Batman. Needless to say he was able to fill that role as well]. And Ryder as the proto-goth-girl; great performance.

quirky film submitted by Josie Brown on July 18, 2014, 6:58pm Classic Tim Burton.

TV Show submitted by squared_sea on June 13, 2015, 9:34pm Does anyone remember the short-lived kids cartoon based off this movie?

Great submitted by AprilCDB on June 21, 2015, 8:14pm This movie is really entertaining and funny. One that I don't mind watching again and again.

Funny submitted by tshish on July 9, 2016, 8:15pm Weird and funny.

Creepy submitted by SadieRose on August 30, 2019, 9:23pm classic, but a little creepy. I pretty much watch just for the dinner scene.

Can't wait submitted by jibkidder on June 17, 2022, 10:06am to rewatch this with my son. Feel like he's not quite ready, but soon!
