COMMUNITY REVIEWS

nlah submitted by a2sue on August 26, 2013, 11:17pm this is the classic frat movie and it's got a great cast

So many favorite moments; so darn silly submitted by ccrose on August 25, 2019, 7:30pm Reflections:
First frat party weekend: the Animal House guys definitely throw the best/weirdest party. John Belushi, the nut case, the basement bar with wall mounted bosom aquarium, DDay up the stairs on his Harley, playing William Tell Overture on his Adam’s apple. I never knew guys and girls this crazy in college but I’m positive they were out there. Great writing, wide open boundaries on how gross, how dumb this movie can go. I still love it and see some friends, now retired, that fit the mindset (so to speak) that was this era. How we all graduated, I’ll never know. Show this to your young children then have The Talk about how important a college education is for a better life.

classic (but not my favorite) submitted by AGAPHD on August 12, 2023, 1:58pm this movie clearly set the tone for the college/frat movies of the last 30 years. that said, parts of it feel wildly dated and not as amusing as intended.
