Unremarkable But Not Bad submitted by Meginator on August 20, 2020, 12:55am I found this album to be fairly middle of the road, but still perfectly serviceable; though no particular element of Jack Ingram’s style really stuck out to me, I found his music perfectly enjoyable. His songs are just on this side of bro country, and his deep vocals lend the music a typical country touch. Most notable is “Seeing Stars,” a duet with Patty Griffin that marries her folk music with Ingram’s modern country for an excellent, introspective experience.
