Okay but Not the Best submitted by Chris82 on July 28, 2011, 7:46pm This CD collection isn't bad but it isn't nearly as good as "The Beatles in Stereo" collection also available at the AADL.

Great Remasters submitted by andrewjmac on August 19, 2014, 2:19pm The remasters of these Beatles albums are excellently done, shedding new light on music you've been hearing your whole life. You can hear the basslines! And they're really good! Also, it's the Beatles, one of the core groups of rock music, and for a reason. Everyone should check this out and take a listen.

An Odd Idea submitted by McCartney McCoy on July 28, 2015, 8:55am I have to wonder: who, other than nostalgic Americans, wants to listen to Sgt. Pepper's in Mono? However, some of the tracks on Revolver sound a bit better in mono. However, I'd go with the Stereo collection.

The Band's Early Years submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2023, 11:48pm This extensive collection includes the Beatles’ first nine UK albums, along with “Magical Mystery Tour” and a two-disc collection of miscellaneous masters, which are mostly non-album tracks. Given that it is technically incomplete, the collection is best for Beatles completionists who will really appreciate the differences between the mono and stereo mixes, although it also functions nicely as an introduction to the group’s work through the White Album. The music itself is as amazing as you’d expect, and it’s remarkable to listen to the albums in relatively quick succession and hear the band gradually transition from the Merseybeat rock and roll that defined Beatlemania to their later genre-defying and -defining experimentation. The Beatles are so prominent as to feel consistently overhyped, but the sheer amount of excellent songs herein (mixed in, it must be said, with the occasional dud) proves that they really do deserve their reputation as one of the most talented and most important musical groups in history.
