Entertaining submitted by gardenfaerie on August 17, 2017, 6:35pm This series is enjoyable and light-hearted. The only problem is, usually when there's a main character who is kind of mean, unsympathetic, whatever, it's the whole gruff exterior/heart of gold trope... and Doc martin doesn't really have that wonderful warm hidden self. The rest of the characters and the scenery make up for it.
