This is one of my favorites! submitted by Duckling on August 4, 2018, 11:06am This is one of my favorite studio ghibli movies. Technically, it is the second movie to Whisper of the Heart, which is also a great movie. But you do not have to watch them together. I didn't know it was the second movie till years after I watched the car returns it is a great stand alone movie. But if you want to watch both I highly recommend both!!! The main reason I love this movie is because of how it goes through what it means to be yourself in the world and I found that very helpful. I recommend this to all children and adults alike.

As a cat lover, I loved watching this movie and how there were so many different looking cats with different personalities. Although it is kind of an odd movie, it has many funny parts and its oddness is what makes it unique!
