My Childhood. submitted by KarleneKulp on June 30, 2016, 3:32pm This movie was my childhood, although it shouldn't have been. The movie is quite scary for a young child, but the animation is fantastic. It is gorgeous. The story line is amazing. Studio Ghibli has out done themselves. If you haven't seen this, please check it out as soon as possible. AMAZING

great movie submitted by yenkong on June 28, 2017, 1:50pm and the animation is very fluid.. nice work!

Great animation! submitted by Xris on June 26, 2018, 8:39pm Beautiful animation! Love the story and characters, and have watched it with my Anime Club!

Fantastic submitted by majean on August 17, 2018, 1:36pm There are several references to Japanese culture and myth, but they don't confuse non-Japanese viewers.

Spirited Away submitted by lstorc on June 28, 2019, 3:11pm It was well done. Some of the animation was gross if you aren't into melting images, like ghosts in baths.

yess submitted by Fleabag on July 31, 2021, 7:39pm spirited away is honestly probably one of ghibl's best films-
it's creepy, but so beautiful and stunning at the same time. it has a lot of japanese folklore/ mythology, which is think is cool. i wouldn't reccomend letting super young kids watch it, since it does get pretty creepy sometimes. (i mean i still get super creeped out, and i've watched this movie tons of many times.) it's super visually pleasing (but sometimes a little gross) , as all miyazaki films are.
highly reccomend!

I don't know how this lame cartoon movie found itself in the 100 best COMEDY DVDs I was looking at. submitted by Tassos on March 11, 2023, 4:08pm There is nothing funny about it.

I really hate lame animated movies.
