COMMUNITY REVIEWS

a hippie hodgepodge submitted by lisa on August 26, 2015, 3:37pm So all-over-the-place. Very catchy stuff. My fave: "Frank Mills".

Very strange submitted by ckfinzel on July 7, 2019, 2:38pm This musical is one in the strangest I have ever encountered, in a good way. Definitely challenging.

Made at the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 11:21am This is an unconventional Broadway score insofar as it is nearly impossible to guess the plot of this musical from the songs alone. However, the various incorporated musical styles and the lyrical content firmly situate the show in its historical era, making the album feel a bit like a time capsule even without the benefit of any context from the story. Though necessarily dated because of what it was trying to do, the show still feels innovative and it’s still evident today how the album pushed against the boundaries of musical theater.
