We all use mathematics every day-- but in a world of body counts, multiple criminal masterminds, and percentages involving perpetrators who may act again, figures are especially valuable. This is the world of Numb3rs. Don Eppes is an FBI agent who recruits his mathematically gifted brother Charlie to help the Bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles, thus tackling the most baffling criminal cases from two very distinctive perspectives.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

I watched disk one of season one with high expectations but was not that impressed. submitted by Tassos on May 4, 2019, 10:00am I recently googled to see the best crime series on TV. I should have restricted it to BRITISH crime series, they are SO MUCH BETTER than ANYTHING the fools in Hollywood put together. I thought this NUMBERS series would be much better than such pablum and tripe as "criminal minds" and the usual BS series. It was not exactly that.

Watching the first season and the first few episodes, there are some interesting ideas but also a whole lot of BS. The producers do a lot of smoke and mirrors that some illiterate may falsely perceive as 'science', but no actual scientist will fall for that BS.

The producers should also understand that having some dumb and non-scientist actor pretend he or she is a scientist, just because they have an ugly face and bad clothes, cuts no ice with real scientists.

In addition, wearing a ridiculous bowtie does not make some bald geezer actor look like a Nobel prize winner.
