Adequate Rock Video Game Covers submitted by Meginator on June 28, 2018, 8:09pm These tracks are cover versions of classic 8-bit video game soundtracks done with traditional rock instruments. The style edges toward alternative rock, with grinding guitars and pounding rhythms, but the Advantage also adapt well to more laid-back tracks. Many songs are blink-and-you’ll-miss-it short, and all are fairly straightforward and done well, even if they don’t bring anything particularly new to the table.

Could have been better submitted by jibkidder on June 23, 2022, 3:42pm These are fairly dry, literal guitar covers of video game music. Why unarguably distinct from their sources, due to the instrumentation and live human playing, I can't say they add much, and by removing the atmosphere of the NES worlds, something is lost. I think this particularly hasn't aged well since the internet now delivers this type of thing in boatloads.
